Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Information collected from the user:

The user can send information through their interaction with Wine & Wine. As the user’s search query, you can collect name, location information and IP address; and when the user contacts the company for any complaint or question, their name, email and phone number are collected. The user’s information when creating an account with Wine & Wine and making a purchase is stored. When creating the account, you get name, surname, age, gender, postal address and password. In the purchase, as data, the products that are left in the shopping cart and those that were finally purchased are stored. Apart from this, the payment method used by the user and his postal code is compiled. This company uses Cookies in order to recognize your browser, store the data of the last search for a product, city of preference and latest products consulted by the user.

The products purchased and those kept in the shopping cart by the user are used to keep a record of the products most requested by the user. The information generated will be for the purpose of improving user interaction with their most requested products and to focus the company’s management towards these products. The user’s telephone number is used to contact the user in case he has any questions or needs to receive some information. Also, Wine & Wine can communicate with the user for transactional purposes.

Information security:

Wine & Wine maintains technical, administrative and physical controls to protect user information. The personal information of the user can only be accessed by the authorized personnel of the company. The data can be modified by the analysts of the company in order to create information relevant to it. Wine & Wine uses encryption system using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology for personal information such as credit card information. Anti-virus is used so that the information can not be stolen by third parties.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
